Clinical Trials Coordinator

Private Eye Clinic, Harley Street | Up to £33,000 | Full-time | 100% On-site

A leading private ophthalmic clinic in Harley Street is seeking an ambitious and highly organised Clinical Trials Coordinator to join its Clinical Trials & Research Department.

This is a commercial clinical research role within the private healthcare sector, not an NHS position. Previous experience working in a commercial clinical trials, private healthcare or industry-sponsored research environment is highly desirable.

Working alongside a renowned Professor and Lead Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will support a range of ophthalmic clinical trials and research projects, including medical retina, AMD, gene therapy, diabetic macular oedema, inherited retinal diseases and advanced retinal imaging.

Key Responsibilities

-Coordinate clinical trials, research projects and patient follow-ups

-Schedule and support patient visits and clinical assessments

-Collect, manage and analyse clinical research data

-Perform and develop skills in advanced ophthalmic imaging

-Maintain accurate trial records and databases in line with GCP

-Liaise with patients, clinicians, sponsors and research teams

-Monitor study progress, timelines and deadlines

-Assist with research papers, reports and scientific presentations

-Support clinical procedures and treatments where appropriate

About You

-Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

-Confident working with databases and clinical data

-Experienced or familiar with commercial clinical research environments

-Able to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines

-Calm, proactive and effective under pressure

-An excellent communicator with a professional, patient-focused approach

-Flexible, adaptable and keen to develop professionally

-Passionate about clinical research, ophthalmology and medical innovation

-Previous commercial clinical trials, private healthcare, CRO or industry-sponsored research experience is highly desirable.

Working Arrangement

This is a 100% on-site position. There is no hybrid or remote working. The successful candidate will work from the clinic in Harley Street, London.

Salary: Up to £33,000
