An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a polished and impeccably presented Private Medical Receptionist to join an independent private eye clinic on Harley Street, moments from Bond Street station.

This is far more than a traditional reception role. It is a position suited to an individual accustomed to operating within ultra-high-net-worth environments, where discretion, refinement and anticipatory service are second nature. The role offers a salary of up to £33k and it operates on a Monday – Friday basis . Hours: Shifts: 8.00am-5.00pm, 9.00am-6.00pm, 10.00am-7.00pm (with flexibility required in case of emergencies)

We are seeking a candidate from a high-net-worth, luxury-led background. Some previous office experience is essential, and candidates must also demonstrate a career history within one or more of the following environments:

• Five-star or ultra-luxury hotels

• Private members’ clubs

• Luxury fashion houses or flagship boutiques

• UHNW private household or private PA roles

• Any high-end concierge or bespoke client services

This role requires a naturally sophisticated communicator who understands the expectations of discerning clientele and is entirely comfortable interacting with high-profile individuals, consultants and private patients.

The clinic is renowned for delivering an exceptional, discreet and highly personalised service within an elegant, calming setting. Specialising in complex, blindness-related conditions, the practice also has a rapidly expanding medical trials division, further enhancing its reputation at the forefront of private ophthalmic care.

The Role

As a key ambassador for the clinic, you will:

• Act as the first point of contact for consultants and patients, delivering a seamless, concierge-style experience at every touchpoint

• Coordinate emergency surgical procedures at short notice, confidently managing multiple consultant diaries and liaising with surgeons, ophthalmic technicians, nurses and anaesthetists

• Provide refined, articulate and highly professional communication across all channels — in person, by telephone and via email

• Manage up to consultant clinic diaries with precision and discretion

• Process payments confidentially and respond to sensitive patient treatment enquiries

• Oversee operational and administrative responsibilities including stock control, ordering of clinical supplies and coordination of maintenance services

• Uphold immaculate standards of personal presentation, confidentiality and service excellence at all times
